  Hello Lincoln Families, It was wonderful seeing so many of you at Back-to-School Night! Thank you for all the generous donations of school supplies to our classroom! At this time, we are all set and do not require anything further. If you haven't sent in a special picture in a frame (5x7 or smaller), please feel free to do so.  As mentioned at BTSN, the only homework requirement is to support your child in reading for 20 minutes or more each night. They should have a yellow or blue bookmark to record the date, the time started, the time ended, the page started, and the page ended. Then add up the total number of pages. They will receive extra "yards" if you sign your initials. If this can't be done at home starting in late September, students will have to make up the time not read at home during lunch recess.   Hello & Welcome to 4th grade! It was terrific seeing so many of you at the Ice Cream Social! I am excited to start the new year by getting to know your child. I look forward to seeing you this  Wednesday, August 27th, at 6:45 for Back-to-School Night!  Here are some essential things to know: Students and parents should check the blog every Sunday. It will be posted at 3:00pm. Please make sure your child has headphones/earbuds.  Students should bring in a water bottle and a healthy snack each day. Please plan to bring in a small item to share during the week of school (favorite toy, souvenir, award, etc.) Also, please plan on bringing a good book to read from home. IF YOU HAVE A SPECIAL PICTURE IN A FRAME, PLEASE SEND IT IN! YOU WILL GET IT BACK AT THE END OF THE YEAR. I LIKE TO PUT THE PICTURES AROUND THE ROOM.
